Information we collect

• Account information, your name and email address when you sign in (for example, through Google sign-in).
• Family & student details, names, grade level, and learning focus that the tutor or parent provides.
• Scheduling & session data, session times, attendance, and tutor notes.
• Billing data, invoices, amounts, and payment status.
• Files, worksheets and progress updates shared with families, and any documents or photos a parent attaches to a message (for example a school report).
• Portal visits, the days a signed-in parent opens the portal, so the tutor can tell whether a family uses it or relies on email. This records the date and time of each visit, not what was clicked.

How we use information

We use this information only to provide the service: scheduling sessions, sending invoices and reminders, sharing materials, and giving families a portal to view their own information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Website inquiries

When you submit the contact form on our website (chandlertutoring.com), we collect the information you provide, typically your name, email address, phone number, and details about each student’s grade level and learning needs, so we can respond to your inquiry and schedule a free Meet & Greet. We use a third-party form-processing and email-delivery service to receive these submissions; it processes the data only to deliver your message to us. We use this information solely to follow up about tutoring; we do not sell it or use it for advertising.

Google user data

If the tutor connects a Google account, we use it only to run her own tutoring calendar and records. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the portal, such as hosting and secure storage, email delivery, online payments, video calls for lessons, calendar, and backups, along with everyday tools that help the tutor run the business and prepare lesson materials. Each receives only what it needs to do its job, and is not permitted to use your information for its own purposes. Card and bank details are entered on our payment provider’s secure page and are never stored in this portal. The portal measures overall site traffic without cookies and without identifying you.

Children’s information

Student information is provided by parents and the tutor to deliver tutoring. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. In the portal, student data is visible only to the tutor and that child’s own family; the service providers above handle it only as needed to run the service.

Your choices

You may ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by contacting us, and you can delete your own portal login from the portal’s Settings page. We keep information for as long as we need it to provide tutoring, and invoices and payment records for as long as tax and ESA program rules require.
